Are Video Game Walk-through all That Helpful?

You are playing a game. The level has been easy but then... A maze?! Oh-no! A regular person would whip their phone out, go to google, and get a walk-through and save themselves the trouble. My thoughts are "Why get a video game when all you do is ask other people to find the answer out for you?" It ruins the fun of the game! So next time you come across a difficult part of a level give it your best shot before consulting with a walk-through so you can take on the challenge and get your money's worth otherwise you might as well watch somebody else playing because watching them is what you do by reading a walk-through to beat a game.

My Vacation!

For the last week or so my family has been on vacation so i have decided to blog about it. On day 1 we went do the Louisville Slugger Factory and got our own mini bats and stayed the night near there. On day 2 we went to Asheville  after going to the capital of  West Virginia, Charleston. On Day 3 we went to the Biltmore estate which is the largest house in the U.S.A. (  Biltmore Info ) and also went on a ridiculous road ( Info on The Road ) to Pigeon Forge. On day 4 we went hiking to different waterfalls in the Smoky Mountains! On day 5 we went outlet shopping ( ughhhhh ) but afterword played black light mini golf and had ice cream. On day 6 we went white water rafting in a torrential downpour ( which stopped 5 minutes on the river ) but the rain caused larger rapids. Class 3's were class 4's. After rafting we went zip-lining which wasn't as fun as expected. We ended the day with dinner at Dick's Last Resort where the staff is rude and are not afraid to make you get drinks or take orders for them. On day 7 we went to Mammoth Cave, which is the largest known cave in the U.S.A. ( Info on Mammoth Cave ) Finally, on day 7, we came home.

Are You Kidding Me?!?

First of all, I'm sorry that I haven't posted in a while, but some ridiculous things have been happening. While I was at my grandma's house we were under a Tornado Warning( This is the second time in a row that a Tornado Warning their when we were there) on the first day there and then I spent the entire next day cleaning up flooding. One of the house had a Grand Canyon in front of it! Sadly, it didn't end there. The Monday after the 4th of July a Tornado Warning was issued for practically the entire county I live in! Nothing became of this but now I am Paranoid whenever I here my NOAA National Weather Service Weather Radio go off because I expect it to be a Tornado Warning. Just this summer I have doubled the amount of Tornado Warnings I have been through in my life! This is crazy. Talk to you guys next time on Musings of a Middle School Mind.

My Time at Camp.

As I said, I was going to be at camp last week so today I am going to blog about my time there. My cabin counselor was a Stars Wars fan so that was pretty fun but sleeping was difficult the first night. At 6:25 we got up to the Transformers theme song (It was too loud) and started the day. My first class was Archery which was fun and then the next fun class was Canoeing. On the final day of Canoeing though, my brother capsized his canoe and had to drag it back to shore. (Thankfully he didn't get any leeches) Leaving was hard because we had to leave are new friends but I thankfully found my counselor on Google Hangouts. Camp was really fun. See you guys next time.

The Kansas City Royals.

Today I was thinking about the Kansas City Royals. Me and my family went to the game last night so I wasn't able to post but that game is what I've been thinking about so I decided to post about it today. The game was good for the first 3 innings but after that, the game started getting boring because nothing was happening but the Royals did win.

I am also thinking about how they are doing in the voting for the All-Star game. This has become a national story because the Royals have 8 of their nine starters in the All-Star game. Bad news came this morning though. The MLB commissioner said that they would cancel 65 million votes (not only Royals votes) because of chances of fraud the funny thing though is that the Royals are still winning. This shows that Kansas City is taking advantage of being good for the first time in 30 or so years. See you guys next time on Musings of a Middle School Mind.

Is Technology Good or Bad?

Today my thoughts were on how tech savvy this generation is. All of the kids probably don't remember life without their phones or their Xbox but when our parents were kids, only some of them had T.V.'s in their house and they only had cartoons on Saturdays! The upside they had though was, they would go outside and play with friends more and more instead of just hiding in their rooms and watch YouTube. I also thought about how sad it is that some of us (stereotypically girls but not always) will text each other when they are sitting across the table and can just talk! Technology has done many good things but has majorly affect our social lives in a mostly bad way. Hopefully in the future, more people will see that it is important to talk with friends. What Does Time With Friends do for You?

Hey guys, wespoint7 again and today I was thinking about time with friends. I met with one of my friends which is why this is the topic. During last summer I had a terribly boring summer with nothing to do because I was too afraid to just call my friends this year has been different. I met with one of my friends every Early Release and it is very fun. I have also  had friends over this summer. My tip to those who are bored in the summer is to, even if you are scared, invite your friends. It has let me have a more exciting, happier summer. Overall, it is better to be around your friends even if you are a little upset that they have to go home. See you guys tomorrow on Musings of a Middle School Mind.
